Our Founder

Chris Falk founded Cadence based on his belief that there is a need in the middle market that is not being adequately addressed by existing professional service providers such as lawyers, accountants and investment banks. He brings a broad base of experience to his clients and a level of expertise that is not typically available to small and middle-market businesses.

He began his professional career as a corporate and transactional attorney at
one of the largest law firms in the country before joining Merrill Lynch as an investment banker in the mid-90s. During his tenure at Merrill Lynch, he led acquisition and financing transactions for companies across a broad range of industries including technology, industrials, food, distribution and business services. Subsequently, he was a senior member of a team charged with establishing and building the investment banking operations for Wells Fargo. Most recently,
he was a partner at an international investment banking boutique focused on the middle market where he led the business services effort in the United States.
